Black People – Agalloch
Shadow people. Have a not-so-distant cousin.
Named black people.
They started out as shadow people; they entertained the white people by dancing for them, and surprising them. Sometimes even scaring them.
But one day, an evil shadow person was created.
He no longer wanted to dance for the white people.
He wanted to become one.
He consulted the leader of the shadow people who was absolutley outraged by this idea.
Shadow people were made for the amusment of white people.
This was the first line of the shadow people constitution (written in shadows).
So, going against all of his non-beleivers warnings, he and his fellow evil shadow people cast a spell using interperative dance to suddenly conjur white people bodies so they may become, at last, white people.
But this was not to be.
The spell went horribly wrong, and instead of summoning white bodies, they summoned bodies that looked similar, but were black in color.
The shadow gods had decided to curse the evil shadow people for disobeying the shadow constitution.
They were cursed to roam the earth as mortal beings, knowing deep inside, that they are not true humans.
They roam, with the reminder of their past right on their skin.
And the best part is: they still dance for white people!
