Thoughts from a broken mind

Increase your short-term memory

Have you ever walked into a room to grab something, but then forgotten what it was? People have memory hiccups all the time. If you want to boost your short-term memory, try Brain Workshop.

This program uses what is called a 2-back test to strengthen your brain. Each trial, you will see a square on a grid and hear a letter. If the square’s position or letter is the same as it was two trials ago, it’s a match. It takes a couple of games to figure it out, but soon your memory will be performing like a champ.

You can change the variable for colors, pictures or shapes. The game tracks your progress and tells you how well you are doing each time you complete a new test.

As you do well, the game will make the puzzles more difficult. See if you can remember 3 or 4-back.
